How to optimize the battery life of your Lenovo Ideapad Duet 3: Tips from a LIFE Tech Apprentice
As a LIFE Tech Apprentice, I recently had the opportunity to
test out the Lenovo Ideapad Duet 3 as my daily work computer. One of the things
that impressed me most was the device's battery life. With a claimed battery
life of up to 10 hours, I was able to use it for a full day of work without
needing to recharge.
However, there are still some things you can do to optimize
the battery life of your Lenovo Ideapad Duet 3 even further. Here are some tips
I discovered during my time with the device:
- Adjust
the screen brightness: One of the easiest ways to save battery life is to
reduce the screen brightness. On the Ideapad Duet 3, you can adjust the
screen brightness by pressing the "Brightness" button on the
keyboard or by going to the Settings app and selecting
"Display".
- Close
unnecessary apps: When you're not using an app, it's a good idea to close
it to conserve battery life. On the Ideapad Duet 3, you can see all your
open apps by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, and then swipe an
app off the screen to close it.
- Use
battery saver mode: The Ideapad Duet 3 comes with a battery saver mode
that reduces power consumption by limiting background activity and
lowering performance. To activate it, go to the Settings app, select
"Battery", and turn on "Battery saver".
- Adjust
sleep settings: By adjusting the sleep settings, you can control how
quickly the Ideapad Duet 3 goes to sleep when it's not being used. You can
adjust these settings by going to the Settings app, selecting
"Display", and then "Sleep".
By following these tips, you can optimize the battery life
of your Lenovo Ideapad Duet 3 and ensure that it lasts as long as possible
throughout your workday.
